You already know your subject. What you do not have is nine months of quiet mornings, a chapter plan that holds together, and someone who will sit with your voice until it reads like you on your best day. That is the job we do: a complete non-fiction manuscript, written from your interviews and your material, delivered in a form you can publish under your own name with total confidence.
What a non-fiction ghostwriting project includes
Every project starts from your expertise, not from a generic outline. We interview you, read whatever you have already written — slide decks, workshop notes, client emails, a half-finished draft — and build the argument of the book from the strongest material you own.
- Interview-led research: three recorded sessions of 60–90 minutes, transcribed and mined for stories, case studies and the phrases that sound like you.
- A chapter plan you approve first: a one-page outline with the promise of each chapter, so nothing is written before the structure is settled.
- A full manuscript: 15 chapters and 18,000+ words in the Starter tier, with your examples, your frameworks and your terminology kept intact.
- Two revision rounds: line-level edits after your read-through, then a final proof before handover.
- Publish-ready files on request: EPUB, PDF and a KDP-formatted paperback interior can be added from the full service menu.
How the process works
- Discovery call (day 1–3). We agree the reader, the promise of the book and the one transformation it delivers.
- Outline sign-off (day 4–7). You receive the chapter map with word targets and the stories assigned to each chapter.
- Drafting in blocks (week 2–4). Chapters arrive in groups of three so you can course-correct early instead of discovering a problem at the end.
- Revision and handover (week 5–6). You mark what is wrong, we rewrite it, and you receive the final manuscript as an editable document.
Who this service is for
Consultants and coaches who need a book to anchor their authority. Founders who have been asked for “the book version” of their method for two years. Therapists, trainers and technical specialists whose knowledge is trapped in workshops. Speakers who want a book to sell at the back of the room. If you can talk about your subject for an hour without notes, you have enough material for a book — the writing is the part we take off your desk.
Length, voice and turnaround
Starter covers one book of 15 chapters at 18,000+ words, which is the working length of most business and self-help titles. Professional covers three books for a series or a backlist. If your subject needs 30,000 words, more than 15 chapters, or a second language edition, say so in the brief and the quote is adjusted before any work begins. Drafting runs 4–6 weeks for a single title, and we never promise a date we cannot hold.
Non-fiction ghostwriting pricing
| Tier | Scope | Price | Was |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 1 ebook — 15 chapters / 18k words | $310 | |
| Professional | 3 ebooks (bulk) | $820 | |
| Bulk / Authority | 5 ebooks | $1,240 |
Prices are per project, not per hour, and include the interviews, the outline, the drafting and two revision rounds. The quote you receive in 24 hours is the price you pay.
Questions authors ask before starting
Will the book sound like me?
That is the whole craft. We keep your vocabulary, your anecdotes and your way of explaining things, and remove only the repetition and the throat-clearing. Clients usually recognise themselves by chapter two.
Do I need to write anything first?
No. A recorded conversation is enough to start. If you already have notes, slides or a draft, we fold them in rather than starting over.
Whose name goes on the cover?
Yours. Ghostwritten work is your work, with a private agreement and full confidentiality. We never list the title in our portfolio without written permission.
Start your non-fiction ghostwriting project — send the idea, the audience and a rough deadline, and you will have a fixed quote and a chapter plan within one working day.
